gues who wants the england job?

A former World Cup winner is interested in the England job.

According to reports, former Germany boss Joachim Low has expressed interest in replacing Gareth Southgate and is ready to open talks with the English FA.

The 64-year-old has been out of work ever since he quit Germany back in 2021.

Low guided Germany to victory in the 2014 World Cup, while he also took them to the final of Euro 2008.

Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglu has brushed off rumours claiming that he's on the list of possible candidates to become the next England manager.

However, he admits he is open to coaching a national team in the future.

Meanwhile German reports say that former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has ruled himself out for the England job.

Spain and England have moved up to 3rd and 4th place in the latest FIFA World Rankings after they reached the final of Euro 2024.

Meanwhile Copa America winners Argentina held on to the top spot.

Malaysia moved up one spot to 134th.

Human rights groups have criticised France over its decision ban its athletes from wearing the hijab and other religious symbols while competing at the Paris Olympics.

Amnesty International called the ban discriminatory and hypocritical, and contrasts with France's claim that Paris 2024 is the first gender-equal Olympics.

France has already clarified that the ban only covers French athletes.
