Antonio Conte says transfer window weakened his squad

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte believes his squad was weakened in the January transfer window, despite the club signing two players.

However, he conceded that Tottenham’s priority is to develop young players, rather than bring in those with proven experience.

Barca’s Pedri admits to being apprehensive about returning

Barcelona player Pedri has admitted that he was nervous about returning to the pitch after spending several months out due to injury.

However, he says he was confident of a return once he was given the all-clear by medical authorities.

Pedri recently returned to feature in Barca’s last five matches in all competitions and is set to play in their Europa League play-off match against Napoli tomorrow morning.
