The race for the remaining European places in the Premier League will go down to the final day of the season.

Chelsea are favourites after their 2-1 win over Brighton this morning moved them up to sixth in the EPL table.

The Blues only need a draw in their final game, to secure them a European place next season.

Meanwhile, Man United’s 3-2 win over Newcastle this morning leaves them in eighth place, trailing the Magpies on goal difference in the standings.

United need to get a better result than Newcastle this weekend, to qualify for next season’s Conference League.

The Red Devils can also secure a spot in the Europa League…if they beat Man City in the FA Cup final.

-

Juventus have won a record-extending 15th Coppa Italia title…after a 1-0 victory over Atalanta in this morning’s final.

This is also Juve’s first major trophy in three years.

-

Premier League clubs are set to hold a vote next month, on whether to scrap the Video Assistant Referee system following several controversial VAR decisions this past season.

-

Lee Zii Jia has enjoyed an opening win over his opponent from China at the Thailand Badminton Open...joining five other Malaysian reps in the second round.

-

And, Alex Albon has signed a contract extension with Williams to remain with the F1 outfit at least until the end of 2026.
