Man United and Arsenal advance to the Europa League semis

Edinson Cavani scored the 50th European goal of his career to help Man United to a 2-0 win over Granada in the second-leg of their Europa League quarterfinal this morning.
The Red Devils added their second in stoppage time via a Granada own goal…to secure a 4-0 aggregate victory.
United will now go on to face Roma, who drew 1-1 with Ajax this morning but go through 3-2 on aggregate.

Elsewhere, Arsenal thumped Slavia Prague 4-0 to complete a 5-1 victory over two legs.
Their reward is a semifinal tie against Villareal – who are managed by former Gunners boss Unai Emery.
The Spanish club advanced after beating Dinamo Zagreb 2-1 this morning and 3-1 on aggregate.

Formula One is refusing to confirm a report that this year’s Canadian GP has been cancelled for the second season in a row due to Covid-19.
The sport’s governing body instead, said that discussions are ongoing to keep the race on the calendar.

A top official from Japan’s ruling party is refusing to rule out canceling the Tokyo Olympics, if the Covid-19 situation there spirals out of control.
His comments come with just 98 days to go until the start of the Games.
