Pep For England?

The English FA has reportedly taken the first steps to offering Pep Guardiola the England manager's job.  

According to reports, the FA has made an initial approach to the Man City boss, to determine if he would be interested in becoming Gareth Southgate's permanent replacement.   

Guardiola's City contract is due to expire at the end of the season, and it's believed that he will decide on his future in the coming weeks.

The Italian football team made history, in their 4-1 Nations League win over Israel.  

This is after 23-year-old Daniel Maldini made his debut for Azzurri, making it the first time that Italy has had three generations of players from the same family.  

Daniel is the son of ex-captain Paolo Maldini and the grandson of the legend Cesare Maldini.

Harvey Elliot has given Liverpool an injury boost after he stepped up his recovery from a fractured foot.  

However, reports say it would still be too soon for him to play in this weekend's clash against Chelsea, and upcoming fixtures against RB Leipzig and Arsenal.
