How Did Lee Chong Wei Congratulate BAC Champs Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik?

Datuk Lee Chong Wei has sent his congratulations to Aaron Chia – Soh Wooi Yik for their historic victory at the Badminton Asia Championship.  

The Malaysian badminton legend says the men's doubles pair showed true fighting spirit, skill and determination, and they will serve as inspirations for future generations.  

Congratulatory messages have also come in from the DPM, the Youth and Sports Minister, and Investment Trade and Industry Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, who is widely expected to become the next BAM president.   

Meanwhile, Aaron - Wooi Yik have credited their new coach Herry Iman for their victory at the Badminton Asia Championship.  

The duo says after a brief adjustment period, they have already adapted to the men's doubles head coach's training and tactics.  

The duo claimed their maiden victory in the competition last night, making them the first Malaysian men's doubles pair to do so since Choong Tan Fook – Lee Wan Wah nearly 20 years ago.

Kylian Mbappé could feature in Real Madrid's Copa Del Rey final later this month, despite being red carded in their La Liga game against Alaves.
