Liverpool's Guehi Obstacle

Liverpool are facing some competition in the race to sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace.  

According to reports, Manchester United have made an initial approach for the defender, but they've yet to table a formal bid.  

Guehi is in his final year at the FA Cup winners, and the club have admitted they may have to sell him now to avoid losing him on a free transfer next year. 

Meanwhile, other reports claim that Liverpool have identified Parma's Giovanni Leoni as an alternative signing if they miss out on Guehi.  

Liverpool are looking to sign a new centre-back this summer to provide cover for Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate.

A Manchester United supporters group has cancelled plans to stage a protest against the club's ownership during their EPL season opener this weekend.  

The group, 'The 1958' says it's due to a lack of unified support from other fans. 

The group wanted to protest against United's minority shareholder Jim Ratcliffe and the unpopular changes he has made since his arrival.

PSG have reportedly agreed to sell wantaway goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, who has been linked with clubs including Chelsea and Man United. 

The Italian's relationship with the club is said to have broken down, after he refused to sign a contract extension.  

He has already been dropped for their UEFA Super Cup clash against Tottenham on Thursday morning.
