Palace Lose Europa League Appeal

Crystal Palace have lost their appeal against their demotion from the Europa League.

They were kicked out for breaching UEFA’s multi-club ownership regulations, because their former shareholder also holds a majority stake in French side Lyon, who’ve also qualified for the competition.

Palace will now play in this season’s third-tier UEFA Conference League, while Nottingham Forest will take their place in the Europa League.

David Alaba’s agent has rubbished speculation the Real Madrid defender could be pushed out to the Saudi Pro League.

This, following reports that Real are looking to offload the injury-prone 33-year-old…who’s struggled for form over the past year.

Everton have agreed to a season-long loan deal for Man City winger Jack Grealish...who’s seeking more first team football ahead of next year’s World Cup.

Inter Milan, Roma, Juventus and Napoli have reportedly joined AC Milan in showing an interest in Man United striker Rasmus Hojlund.

And, the Spanish FA has approved plans for the Barcelona-Villareal La Liga tie to be played in the US…although the move still requires the green light from FIFA and UEFA.
