Honours Even Between Everton and Liverpool

It was honours even between Everton and Liverpool in their EPL clash this morning, with both sides settling for a 2-2 draw.

The Reds were just moments away from what would have been their fourth successive league victory before James Tarkowski netted an injury-time equalizer for the home side.

Reds boss Arne Slot, as well as one player each from both teams were also sent off following a mass altercation after the final whistle.

The highly-entertaining match was the final Merseyside derby to be played at Goodison Park, before The Toffees move to a new stadium.

This morning’s result moves Liverpool seven points clear at the top of the standings, while Everton are in 15^th.

In Champions League last-16 playoffs this morning…Bayern Munich defeated Celtic 2-1 in the first leg.

Feyenoord had a surprise 1-0 win over AC Milan.

Benfica defeated Monaco also 1-0.

While Brugge recorded a 2-1 win over Atalanta.

He topped the list for the second year in a row, with 260 million dollars in earnings.

Incidentally, not a single woman made the top-100 of the highest-paid athletes.

And, Arsenal forward Kai Havertz is set to undergo further scans to determine the extent of the hamstring injury he sustained in training.

This, amid fears that he could be out for the rest of the season.
