Erling Haaland has broken yet another scoring record after netting his 34th goal for Norway in their 3-0 Nations League victory over Slovenia.
The strike makes him his country’s highest-scoring male player of all time, needing just 36 games to achieve the feat.
His tally puts him one goal ahead of the previous record holder Jorgen Juve – who represented Norway in the 1920’s and 30’s.
What’s remarkable, is Haaland only made his international debut in 2019 and needed just 36 games to hit his new milestone.
Interestingly, Haaland still has a long way to go to become Norway’s outright top-scorer, male or female.
Isabel Herlovsen currently holds that honour with 67 goals for her country.

But this doesn’t take away from the fact that Haaland has been an unstoppable force since bursting onto the scene.
He’s so far scored a total of 236 club goals for Molde, Salzburg, Borussia Dortmund and Man City.
He’s already scored over a hundred goals for City and also holds the record for the most Premier League goals in a season (36 in the 2022/20233 season)
But what is truly remarkable, is that Haaland has achieved all this at the age of just 24. Imagine what else he could achieve over the next few seasons.
