PM Congratulates Harimau Malaya

The PM has congratulated Harimau Malaya over last night's historic 4-0 win over Vietnam in the Asian Cup qualifiers.
Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim also hopes that the victory in Bukit Jalil will kickstart a new revival for the national team.
It was Malaysia’s first victory over Vietnam in 11 years, and their biggest win against the over the regional powerhouse in over thirty years.
The result puts Malaysia at the top of their qualifying group, and their next game will be away at Laos in October.

Meanwhile, Vietnam's football coach has apologised to his country's football fans after their 4-0 thrashing.
He blamed it on injuries to his two centre-backs towards the end of the first half.

Man City have completed the signing of AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders (tee-jhani rain-ders) for an innitial fee of £46 million.
The Dutchman is City's 4th new signing of the summer, after Rayan Ait-Nouri, Marcus Bettinelli and Rayan Cherki.

Brazil and Ecuador have joined Argentina in booking their spots in next year's World Cup!
Brazil advanced after Vinicius Jr gave them a 1-0 win over Paraguay in this morning's qualifier.
It was their first victory under new boss Carlo Ancelotti.
Meanwhile, Ecuador had a goalless draw with Peru.
Ecuador are second in the South American qualifying group, ahead of 3rd placed Brazil, with two matches remaining.
