Harimau Malaya Thump Vietnam In Asian Cup Qualifier

Malaysia have thumped Vietnam 4-0 in their Asian Cup third-round qualifier in KL last night.

The win was Harimau Malaya’s first over Vietnam in 11 years and their biggest victory over the regional powerhouse in over three decades.

The result, in front of over 61 thousand supporters at the National Stadium, leaves Malaysia top of their qualifying group with two wins ahead of Vietnam and Laos.

Man City have completed the signing of Lyon attacking midfielder Rayan Cherki for an initial fee of over 30 million pounds.  

He is City’s third signing in two days following the arrival of defender Rayan Ait-Nouri and back-up goalie Marcus Bettinelli.
