Liverpool’s Mo Salah has been named the PFA Player of the Year.

This, after he helped the Reds to the EFL and FA Cups last season, while also finishing as the Premier League’s joint-top scorer.

Salah is only the seventh male player to win the PFA prize twice...after Mark Hughes, Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry, Gareth Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kevin De Bruyne.

Meanwhile, Man City’s Phil Foden won the Young Player of the Year award for the second consecutive season.

Liverpool and Man City have dominated the Professional Footballers’ Association’s Team of the Year.

The Reds had six players named… including Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Virgil Van Dijk.

Kevin De Bruyne was one of three City players named on the prestigious list…while Chelsea’s Antonio Rudiger and Man United’s Cristiano Ronaldo also made the cut.

However, Tottenham’s Son Heung Min was surprisingly left out, despite finishing as the Premier League’s joint-top scorer.

Juventus are reportedly edging closer to signing Paul Pogba.

Sources say both parties have been in talks for several weeks now, with the Man United midfielder expected to finalize his move in the coming days.

Real Madrid and PSG were also rumoured to be eyeing the World Cup winner, who will leave Old Trafford when his contract expires at the end of the month.
