Cristiano Ronaldo has trained with his Man United teammates for the first time since his shock return to the club.

He did not feature in Portugal’s World Cup qualifier this morning due to suspension.

The 36-year-old is in line to make his United debut either in this weekend’s EPL clash against Newcastle, or next week’s Champions League tie against Young Boys.

Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham could be on his way to the Premiership.

Sources say the 18-year-old’s performances for the Bundesliga club and the England national team, have attracted the interest of Liverpool and Chelsea.

The Reds, in particular, are said to be very keen on Bellingham, are preparing a club record 80 million pounds bid for the player next summer.

Ziyad Zolkefli says he will leave it to sports authorities to decide, if he deserves some kind of reward for his performance at the recent Tokyo Paralympics.

This, after he broke the world record en-route to winning the shot-put gold…although the medal was later revoked due to a pre-event technical violation.

Ziyad says he will accept whatever decision is made with an open heart…but adds that he’d rather not be rewarded out of sympathy.

Canadian teenager Leylah Fernandez has continued her amazing run at the US tennis Open.

The 19-year-old pulled off an upset win over fifth seed Elina Svitolina to qualify for the semifinals.

Fernandez had already knocked out former Grand Slam champions Naomi Osaka and Angelique Kerber en-route to the last four.
