Man Utd Get Another Striker

Man United are on the verge of completing their move for Benjamin Sesko.

They’ve reached a nearly 74 million pounds deal with RB Leipzig for the striker, who’s expected to undergo his medical later today.

The 22-year-old is now set to become United’s fourth signing of the summer… after Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Diego León.

Speaking of transfers, Darwin Nunez is now on his way to Al Hilal after the Saudi club agreed to a 53 million euros deal for the Liverpool striker.

PSG’s Champions League winner Ousmane Dembele as well as Barcelona’s teenage star Lamine Yamal have made the 30-man shortlist for the Ballon d’Or award.

Both are hot favourites for this year’s prize.

Other notable nominees include Mo Salah, Erling Haaland, Kylian Mbappe, Virgil Van Dijk and Harry Kane.

Tottenham midfielder James Maddison is set to miss most of the upcoming season after deciding on surgery to fix a knee ligament problem.

Spurs did not give a timeline for his return, but such injuries normally require six months of recovery before players can resume training.

The Youth and Sports Ministry is considering a new system of picking sports for future SUKMA Games.

Its suggesting giving the power to either the government or the National Sports Council…instead of the current practice where organizing states pick the sports for each edition.

The proposal is to ensure the consistency of the sports being contested…since states typically add or drop sports based on their own medal chances…which can affect an athlete’s development.
