Man United have made their worst-ever start to a Premier League campaign.

This, after yesterday’s goalless draw with Aston Villa left them with just eight points from their opening seven matches.

United are currently 14th in the standings with two wins, two draws and three defeats.

In other EPL results…Brighton battled back from two goals down to beat Tottenham 3-2.

While Chelsea had a 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest.

Elsewhere, Robert Lewandowski has taken his La Liga goal tally this season to ten…after netting a hattrick in Barcelona’s 3-0 win over Alaves.

-

Meanwhile, Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after doctors confirmed that he will need surgery to fix a knee problem he picked up in the league win over Villareal.

-

Francesco Bagnaia has won the Japanese MotoGP…ahead of Jorge Martin and Marc Marquez.

Its helped Bagnaia cut Martin’s lead in the championship standings to just 10 points…with four races to go this season.

-
