two more silver medals for malaysia at the commonwealth games

Malaysia has picked up another two silver medals at the Commonwealth Games.

One came via Gabriel Gilbert Daim and Muhammad Syafiq Puteh in the men’s diving 3m springboard synchro.

The other was delivered by our lawn bowls team in the women’s triples event.

It brings our tally at the Games so far to four gold, four silver and three bronze.

Arsenal have enjoyed a perfect start to the Premier League season…beating Crystal Palace 2-nil this morning.

A first-half Gabriel Martinelli strike and a late Palace own goal secured the three opening points for the Gunners.

-

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has denied that they’re saving the number nine shirt for a new summer signing.

Instead, he says none of his attackers wanted the squad number this season, believing that it is unlucky.

Several players who wore number nine in the past – including Fernando Torres, Alvaro Morata and most recently Romelu Lukaku – all ended up having disappointing spells with the Blues.

-

Former Liverpool striker Sadio Mane has scored his first Bundesliga goal.

He was on the scoresheet as his new club Bayern Munich thumped Eintracht Frankfurt 6-1 in their season opener.
