Reds Snatch Crucial Champions League Win

Liverpool scored against the run of play, to snatch a 1-0 win over PSG in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie in Paris this morning.

The home side dominated the game with 27 shots, but were unable to make a breakthrough.

Harvey Elliot then netted a late winner for the Reds, with what was his first touch of the game, after coming on for Mo Salah.

In other last-16 first leg ties this morning…Harry Kane scored twice as Bayern Munich defeated Bayer Leverkusen 3-0.

Inter Milan recorded a 2-0 victory over Feyenoord.

While Barcelona edged past Benfica 1-0.

Man United are facing an injury crisis ahead of tomorrow’s Europa League tie against Real Sociedad.

The Red Devils will be without 11 players for the first leg in Spain…with Harry Maguire and Manuel Ugarte the latest to be sidelined.

For the first time ever, the World Cup will be getting a half-time show at next year’s final in New Jersey.

FIFA has also confirmed that it’s brought in Coldplay singer Chris Martin to help narrow down the list of performers.
