EFL Cup: Newcastle Gun Down Arsenal

Newcastle have cruised into the EFL Cup final after beating Arsenal 2-0 this morning and 4-0 on aggregate in the semis.
The Magpies are now one step closer to ending their 56-year wait for a major trophy.
They will next face the winners of tomorrow’s other semifinal between Liverpool and Tottenham, with Spurs holding a one-goal advantage from the first leg.

Real Madrid have avoided a major upset by beating Leganes 3-2 in the Copa Del Rey quarterfinal this morning.
Rookie Gonzalo Garcia – who was making his first appearance for Real this season - netted the winning goal deep into stoppage time.
