There will NOT be a repeat of the leaks that affected last year’s Malaysian badminton Open.
The Malaysia Stadium Corporation gave this assurance, saying it has already conducted the necessary repairs to the roof of the indoor stadium in Bukit Jalil.
The leaks caused the postponement of several matches during last year’s tournament.
Meanwhile, our national men's doubles badminton coach is banking on strong home ground support to spur our shuttlers at the Malaysian Open, which starts on Tuesday.
Our players will be aiming to win the men’s doubles title for the first time since 2014.
