Multiple Rewards For Our BWF World Championship Heroes

Chen Tang Jie-Toh Ee Wei and Pearly Tan-M Thinaah will be rewarded appropriately for their heroics at the BWF World Championships.
BAM says the amount will be finalised soon.
Tang Jie-Ee Wei won became the first Malaysian duo to win the Mixed Doubles title.
Meanwhile Pearly-Thinaah finished as runners up in the women’s doubles.
Besides this, both doubles will receive incentives from the National Sports Incentive Scheme
Under the scheme, winners of annual world championship events will receive RM20,000, while runners-up will get RM10,000.

Pearly Tan-M Thinaah’s coach has hailed the duo’s maturity, after finishing as runners up at the BWF World Championships.
Rosman Razak especially singled out their mental strength, and willingness to change tactics depending on the situation.
He adds that they serve as perfect role models for other female shuttlers and hopes they will spur them to success.
