Lewis Hamilton is leaving Mercedes at the end of the 2024 season, to join rivals Ferrari.

The move is being hailed as one of the biggest driver transfers in Formula One history.

It brings an end to Hamilton’s nearly 12-year association with Mercedes…during which he won six of his seven world championship titles.

He is now set to race alongside Charles Leclerc at Ferrari…with Leclerc’s current partner Carlos Sainz to drive elsewhere in 2025.

Man United have snatched a dramatic 4-3 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers in EPL action this morning.

Youngster Kobbie Mainoo netted the winner for the Red Devils in the seventh minute of injury-time.

This is also United’s first win in three league matches.

Meanwhile, another EPL tie this morning saw Bournemouth hold West Ham to a 1-1 draw.

-

Over in Spain…Real Madrid returned to the top of La Liga…after a 2-0 win over Getafe.

Real are now two points ahead of second-placed Girona, ahead of Monday’s Madrid derby against Atletico.

-

Reports claim Barcelona are considering bringing Frank Rijkaard back as manager, to replace the outgoing Xavi at the end of the season.

The former Dutch midfielder was in charge of the Catalan side between 2003 and 2008…delivering the Champions League and two La Liga titles.
