National track cyclist Dato' Azizulhasni Awang is now recovering after undergoing an operation to treat a heart issue last month.

The National Sports Institute says the Pocket Rocketman required corrective surgery to treat a rare condition, that left him with a high risk of sudden cardiac arrest.

Azizul is currently being monitored by experts in Australia, with his rehabilitation to be handled by sports science specialists and cardiologists at the National Sports Institute and the National Heart Institute.

Real Madrid are La Liga champions!
