Msian teen killed in Australian skateboard accident

A Malaysian teenager  has died in a skateboarding accident, while on holiday with his family in Queensland, Australia. 

According to Australian reports, the 16-year-old was skating down a hill when he collided with a pole. 

Local police say he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and they are now investigating the circumstances behind the incident.

The govt is scrapping the rule, that limits retailers to conducting cheap sales to just 4 times a year. 

The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry says starting January 2nd, they will be able to stage sales at any time without having to apply for permit first. 

It says such a ruling is outdated, adding its removal could help spur growth in the retail sector. 

However it assured that sales will be closely monitored, to prevent traders from making false or misleading claims.

A member of the rescue team that saved 12 boys and their football coach from a flooded cave in Thailand last year has passed away as a result of the operation.  

Thai Navy Seal member Beirut Pakbara was suffering from a blood infection that he contracted during the rescue mission. 

Another rescuer, Saman Gunan, died during the rescue attempt.
