Teachers’ workload reduced by 50% under PH

The Education Ministry says it managed to reduce teachers' workloads by half, and this has allowed them to focus more on students.
This was one of the achievements highlighted in the ministry's yearly report card.
The report card also said that it installed high-speed internet at over 10,000 schools nationwide.
Over 300 suspected scammers charged for immigration offences
About a quarter of the 680 suspected scammers arrested in Cyberjaya last month have been charged with immigration offences.
The Chinese nationals have pleaded guilty for entering and staying in Malaysia without valid passes.
The majority of them were sentenced to 4 months in jail, while the others were fined 5 thousand ringgit each.
Over 900 Chinese nationals have been arrested in Msia for their alleged involvement in online scams, since November 20th.
