6-month extension for cross-border RTS link

Malaysia had requested to extend the suspension of the cross-border RTS link by another 6 months until the end of next April.
Singapore's Transport Minister revealed that yesterday, adding the request was approved in the spirit of bilateral cooperation.
Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad announced last Thursday that Malaysia had decided to proceed with the project at a reduced cost.
No modified bicycle cases in Perak

Perak police have confirmed that there are no modified bicycle cases in the state.
This, comes a day after Bukit Aman police reminded parents to keep an eye on their kids, especially if they have a tendency to ride modified bicycles.
He adds that negligent parents and guardians may face legal action.
Johor is ready to face any possibilities of floods following heavy rain that hit the state while the SPM examination is underway.
State officials say a committee had identified hotspot schools there and they have been trained to deal with any situation and to act quickly.
The committee has also identified the nearest venues to place the candidates in the event of floods.
