Motorists travelling along PLUS highways will no longer be able to reload their Touch n’ Go cards at toll plaza exit lanes starting next Tuesday.

PLUS says the move is aimed at reducing congestion caused by commuters reloading their cards at toll plazas along the northern region.

It is also to ensure the safety of its employees, as there have been 81 cases of heavy vehicles crashing into toll booths between 2016 and 2018.

But, customer service centres and reload lanes at entry lanes at selected toll plazas will be operating as usual.
