More childcare centres at workplace by 2020

The government is aiming to set up more than 150 childcare centres at public sector workplaces by end of next year.
The Family Ministry says this is to encourage women in uniformed bodies, such as nurses, teachers and those in the police force, to continue working and provided with childcare facilities.
This following the Budget 2020 announcement last week in which the govt said it has allocated 30 million ringgit for more TASKAs to be opened next year.

The PKR Perak chief has withdrawn his statement regarding the Bukit Gantang MP's alleged move to join the party.
However, MP Syed Abu Hussin Hafiz Syed Abdul Fasal has denied claims that he has joined PKR.
He says he had never even applied to join PKR and stressed that he was still an independent MP.

The Prime Minister has stresssed that he will not interfere in the issue over the publication of a controversial comic book that was distributed in schools nationwide.
Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad says he didn't give permission for his pictures to be used for any reason, or for the comic books to be handed out.
Meanwhile, the Home Ministry says it is investigating the matter, adding that stern action will be taken against those behind the distribution.
