Former Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin has been named the most popular and most trusted Opposition politician, in a new study.

The survey of about 1,000 people found former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak is the 2nd on the list with about a 4th of the votes KJ received.

Meanwhile, Bukit Aman says Najib will be questioned this week over online posts involving Perak DAP chief Nga Kor Ming.

The police will also call Nga to record his statement.

There is a place and time for protests, and convocation ceremonies are not it

The Prime Minister has reminded university students that there is a place and time for protests, and this doesn't include convocation ceremonies.

Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad says not only is it disruptive, it could also cause trouble.

This is after University Malaya lodged a police report, against a student activist, who staged a protest, while receiving his scroll during his convocation ceremony.

Tun M adds the govt will not interfere in any university matters, saying they are free to make their decisions.

The Women's Aid Organisation has urged the govt to protect job seekers from discrimination in upcoming amendments to the Employment Act.

It says this is important because those pregnant or returning to the workforce often face discrimination during job interviews.

A WAO survey revealed that about 40 percent of women had been asked by job interviewers if they were pregnant or had plans to become pregnant.

Meanwhile, the NGO also called for a 7-day paternity leave, saying it will go hand in hand with the 90 days maternity announced for new monthers.
