Eligible recipients from the B40 group will receive a petrol subsidy of 30 ringgit a month for cars, and 12 ringgit a month for motorcycles.
All other ELIGIBLE motorists who are not Bantuan Sara Hidup recipients will receive a special Kad 95, that will allow them to enjoy a RON 95 subsidy at a discount of 30 sen per liter, limited to 100 liters per month for cars and 40 liters per month for bikes.
Meanwhile, motorists will also enjoy an average 18 percent discount for all PLUS highways.
For those in the labour force...the government will amend the Employment Act...to increase maternity leave from 60 to 90 days...starting in 2021.
It has also proposed that the minimum wage be increased to 1,200 ringgit a month...but only for urban areas.
While fresh grads or women between the ages of 30 and 50 who've been jobless for over a year...will receive a 500 ringgit incentive a month for two years once they return to the job market.
While for civil servants...those in Grade 56 and below will receive a 500 ringgit special payment.
Meanwhile, Govt retirees, including Armed Forces veterans without pensions will also receive a 250 ringgit special payment.
