There is no need for PT3 candidates to resit the exam

Oct 05, 2019

The Education Ministry says there is no need for PT3 candidates to resit the exam.

It explained that PT3 is similar to that of year-end examination, and that the exam papers are standardised.

The Ministry says the exam will go on as scheduled and students will sit for the remaining Science, History, Religious Studies and BM papers between next Monday and Wednesday.

This, following allegations that some PT3 papers, including English, Maths and Geography, were leaked on social media before students were due to sit for the exams.

The goverment is looking at banking in money directly into the accounts of those eligible for RON95 petrol subsidy, instead of using the subsidy card as previously announced.

The Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry will use the Bantuan Sara Hidup database to identify those under the B40 category who qualify for the subsidy.

It says the full details of the petrol subsidy will be announced on Monday.
