Lower Passenger Service Charge on the cards
Aug 30, 2019
The Transport Ministry says people flying to non-Asean destinations, from KLIA2 and other airports will pay a lower Passenger Service Charge of 50 ringgit, starting October 1st.
However, the charge for KLIA will remain at 73 ringgit.
Meanwhile, passengers who've already paid the service charge for flights after October 1st can apply for a refund from their respective airlines.
The Passenger Service Charge is separate from the govt's departure levy, which will come into effect soon.

The social media website Pinterest has been praised by the World Health Organisation, for its leading role in the fight against the anti-vaccination movement.
Pintrest banned searches that contained terms like "anti-vaccination" or "anti-vaxx", and only provides content from reliable public health sources.
This is on contrast to other social media sites, that only reduce the visibility of anti-vaxx content, instead of blocking them all together.

Because of this, the researchers urged doctors to inform women about the cancer risk before undergoing HRT.
