A special motion to compel all lawmakers to declare their assets has been tabled.
Under the proposal, those who fail to declare their assets will be hauled to the Parliamentary Select Committee on Rights and Privileges.
Minister in the PM's Department Datuk Liew Vui Keong adds MPs can be jailed for making false declarations.
If the motion is accepted, it will apply to all MPs, their spouses, their children below the age of 21 and related trust holders.
The bill is aimed at overcoming corruption among the country's leaders.
Street demonstrations and protest marches will no longer be a crime if amendments to the Peaceful Assembly Act are passed.
The government is also proposing to shorten the notice period for protest organisers to inform authorities, from 10 days to 7.
Syed Saddiq, the youngest member of cabinet, has moved to redefine 'youth' as those under the age of 30 through an amendment to the Youth Societies and Youth Development Act.
Finance Ministry says appeal for BSH 2019 opens today

You can submit your appeals for the govt's cash aid programme Bantuan Sara Hidup from today till August 15th.
The government says this is to ensure those who do not qualify are given a chance to present their case together, with relevant documents to be re-verified by the Inland Revenue Board.
The application for the appeal can be made online or at any IRB branch.
Blood and urine samples taken from Pasir Gudang victims for tests

Authorities have taken blood and urine samples from victims, reported to have been suffering from breathing difficulties in Pasir Gudang, Johor.
The Environment Minister says the results will be cross checked with data on air quality from 85 schools in the area.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Prime Minister says schools there will only be ordered to shut if there are new incidents of breathing difficulties or nausea.
