No Malaysians involved in Jakarta post-election riots

No Malaysians were involved in the post-election riots in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The Foreign Ministry says it will continue to monitor the situation there, as a precautionary measure.
It adds that it has no intention to bring back Malaysians, who are currently there, but urged them to heed the advice from authorities and not to attend mass rallies.
Over 1 million vehicles expected to ply KL-Karak Highway, LPT1
1.6 million vehicles are expected to ply the Kuala Lumpur-Karak Highway and the East Coast Highway 1 during the nine-day Raya celebration.
Anih Berhad says the 65 percent increase in the number of vehicles is from June 1 to 3 when people travel to their hometowns.
As such, travel time proposals will be issued to reduce extreme congestion at peak times.
No discussions to shut down vernacular schools
The government has never discussed calls by certain NGOs to shut down vernacular schools.
The Deputy Prime Minister says such proposals were never raised at the weekly Cabinet meetings.
