Males now outnumber females in Malaysia

Malaysia currently has more men than women. 

The Statistics Department says currently, there are about 16 million men in the country.

They outnumber Malaysian females by about 1 million. 

The Dept adds that the country's population for the first quarter of this year is estimated at 32.6 million people.

Meanwhile, Selangor is the most populous state, with over 6.5 million people. 

3 more suspects still at large over foiled terror plot targeting KL

Police are still looking for 3 more suspects, over a recently-foiled terror plot targeting KL. 

The Inspector General of Police says the suspects, 2 locals and a foreigner, are believed to be still in the country.

4 suspected terrorists were arrested earlier this week, over the plot to attack non-Muslim places of worship and entertainment centres around the city. 

FB restricts live feature

Facebook has announced a new 1-strike policy, that will ban users from using its FB Live service if they breach its terms of service. 

It's part of its crackdown on abuse of FB Live, after the Christchurch shooter in New Zealand used it to livestream the attack.

Meanwhile, users who post harmful links, like terrorist websites, on their profiles will be blocked from live-streaming.
