PDRM foiled a terrorist plot

4 men have been arrested for allegedly planning a series of terror attacks targeting non-Muslim places of worship and entertainment centres around KL.

Police say the suspects, comprised of 3 foreigners and 1 local, were nabbed in separate raids in KL, Subang Jaya and Kuala Berang, Terengganu.

The suspects also said that they were part of an IS terrorist cell.

IPCMC moving even closer to becoming a reality

The Home Minister says the Independent Police Complaints and Misconduct Commission, IPCMC is expected to be set up by the end of this year.

The police were initially against setting up the IPCMC but force finally relented, following discussions with the National Governance, Integrity and Anti-Corruption Centre last week. 

Setting up the IPCMC was one of the Pakatan Harapan government's election promises in GE14. 

There is no shortage of English teachers in the country!

There is no shortage of English teachers in the country, contrary to claims by the National Union of the Teaching Profession.

However, the Education Ministry admits there is a shortage of English option teachers, who can fill in for the language teacher's spot.

As such, the Ministry says it is looking for solutions to overcome this issue.
