We won't be getting any rebates for the Klang Valley water disruptions

Residents affected by next week's major water cuts in the Klang Valley will not be given rebates.
Air Selangor, SYABAS says this is because authorities gave early notice of the cuts, due to upgrading work at a water treatment plant in Selangor.
Syabas also urged people to prepare for the disruption by saving water, and to use water sparingly.
The water supply disruption will start next Wednesday and could last up to 4 days.
Appeal for matriculation programme is open until April 29th

Students, who have yet to receive a placement in the Education Ministry's matriculation programme, have been advised to submit an appeal.
The ministry says they can do it online, via post, by hand, fax or email until April 29th.
Those who lodge appeals can check their results starting from May 21st.
H1N1 outbreak at Ipoh school: Almost 80 student allowed to return home

Almost 80 students from a school in Ipoh, Perak have been allowed to return home, after showing symptoms of influenza-like illness.
The state exco says there's nothing to worry about as the situation is under control.
Earlier, the Health Ministry said the number of suspected H1N1 flu cases there rose to 102.
