Nurul Izzah to serve her final term as a federal lawmaker

Permatang Pauh MP Nurul Izzah Anwar has revealed that she will be serving her final term as a federal lawmaker.
She was quoted telling Singapore’s Straits Times that she was disappointed with the Pakatan administration's “slow pace” on reform and policies since their historic GE14 win.
This comes after Nurul Izzah quit the Parliamentaty Public Accounts Committee.

The Education Minister wants the authorities to take action over the scuffle that erupted between Universiti Malaya students and supporters of Datuk Seri Najib Razak.
Dr Maszlee Malik says a uni is a platform for peaceful discussions, debates and forum and not a place for such kind of behaviour.
Yesterday, violence erupted at a meet-and-greet session involving Najib near UM, when his supporters roughed up a group of youths who challenged him about the 1MDB scandal.
Police to extend remand order for suspects allegedly involved in the Sungai Kim Kim pollution

Johor police will apply for an extension of the remand order on 9 suspects allegedly involved in the chemical waste pollution in Sungai Kim Kim tomorrow.
They need another few days to iron out details for the investigation paper to be completed.
The remand order will expire tomorrow.
