GERAKAN is urging the Cabinet to vet the academic qualifications of all leaders, just like how universities do before hiring.

It says this is a form of preventive action and should be applied to ministers, deputy ministers, chief ministers and mentri besars.
This after several Pakatan Harapan politicians being accused of having questionable academic qualifications, following accusations hurled at Deputy Foreign Minister Marzuki Yahya.

The National Anti-Drugs Agency says growing cannabis is possible but only if it's for medicinal and research purposes and the Health Ministry approves.

NADA says there is room in the Dangerous Drugs Act for the cultivation of cannabis for such purposes.
But it adds that the cultivation should be strictly controlled so it is not misused for other purposes.

Police are asking for help to shed light into a viral incident, where a man fell out of a moving car in Banting last Thursday.

The cops are urging the driver of the vehicle and witnesses of the incident to come forward and assist investigation.
In the clip, the vehicle was seen speeding away, leaving the injured victim by the road side.
