Wanita PKR calls for law on violence against women
Feb 03, 2019
Wanita PKR has urged the government to introduce a law on violence against women.
It says currently, there's no specific law against people who commits violence against women, including sexual harassment.
It adds that the guidelines to address sexual harassment at the workplace aren't enough, because the offenders are just given a warning.
Wanita PKR says it will meet with the Women, Family and Community Development Ministry to propose the matter.
