One side of the SMART Tunnel is open again!

The portion of KL's SMART Tunnel, from Jln Tun Razak heading towards Sg Besi, is now accessible to vehicles, following clean-up works.
The tunnel was closed yesterday to alleviate potential flooding problems, following heavy rain.
Its operator says this prevented possible flooding in areas around Masjid Jamek, Lebuh Ampang, Dataran Merdeka and Pasar Seni.

Air Selangor says just over half of the areas affected by the recent water cuts in the Klang Valley have had their supplies restored.
Odour pollution had forced the Sungai Langat and Bukit Tampoi water treatment plants to shut down at the weekend.
The Sungai Langat plant resumed operations yesterdy, while the Bukit Tampoi facility remains closed due to the pollution.

New Zealand police have ended the search for two bodies, who are still missing following the White Island volcano eruption earlier this month.
Police believe their remains could have washed out to sea, and may never be found.
19 people were killed in the eruption, including the two missing people
