There'll be exceptions to the child safety seat rule

The Transport Ministry may give an exception to large families in the compulsory installation of child safety seats in vehicles.
It says it is difficult to fit 4 or 5 child car seats in one vehicle.
It adds that no punitive measures will be taken during the child safety seat’s introductory period in January next year.
The Ministry also noted that up to 15 percent of deaths on the road involved children.
17 SPM students issued summonses for revving their bikes after exams
17 SPM students in Melaka have been issued summonses after they took to the streets to celebrate the end of their exams.
This is after a video of hundreds of SPM students revving their motorcycles around a traffic light junction in Klebang went viral on social media.
Police say they committed various offences, including not possessing a license, driving with an expired road tax, and illegal vehicle modifications.
Women, Family and Community Ministry to tackle period poverty

The Women, Family and Community Ministry is urging the Education Ministry to gather data on students affected by period poverty.
Its Deputy Minister Hannah Yeoh says girls should not stop school just because they are unable to buy sanitary pads.
She adds her Ministry will be able to better provide help to these affected students with proper data.
