Police believe that the Irish girl, who went missing in Seremban, is still in the forest area near the resort where her family was staying.
This is because there's no evidence she moved out of the area.
They are still classifying it as a missing persons case, but police stress that the probe is holistic, with the forensic and criminal investigation departments working together.
Police add, are in the process of identifying fingerprints that were lifted from the window panel in the living room where they were staying.
They've also recorded statements from 20 witnesses including her family members.
