Another 3 people arrested over Kuala Selangor temple brawl

Another 3 people have been arrested over a brawl at a temple in Kuala Selangor that saw a police officer and a civilian injured.
The cop was trying to stop a machete fight between 2 groups, who were arguing over a tent during a religious ceremony two days ago.
So far, 31 people have been detained over the case.

The MySalam insurance scheme for the B40 lower income group will not benefit any private insurance company.
The Finance Ministry says all premiums paid to a trust fund for the insurance scheme will be returned to the fund, if it is not utilised for claims.
It adds the insurance company appointed to manage the scheme does not profit from this.
Singapore has no plans to lower voting age

Singapore does not plan to follow in Malaysia's footsteps in lowering the voting age from 21 to 18.
The government says there are platforms and channels, where youths can express their views and contribute to nation-building.
About 130,000 youths in the Republic would be eligible to vote if the voting age was lowered today.
