Najib referred to Parliamentary Rights and Privileges Committee over White Paper embargo

Datuk Seri Najib Razak will be referred to the Parliamentary Rights and Privileges Committee for allegedly breaking the embargo on the Felda White Paper.
The motion to refer him to the committee was put to a bloc vote, with majority of the MPs voting in favour.
Najib is being accused of leaking parts of the White paper's findings several hours before it was officially tabled, so he could post rebuttals on his Facebook.
High Court denied bail ahead of trial for wife of Cradle Fund CEO

The Shah Alam High Court has denied bail to the wife of Cradle Fund CEO Nazrin Hassan, who was charged with his murder.
The court has set September 3rd for the trial of the case.
The widow was accused along with her two sons of killing Nazrin at their home in June last year.
The youths, aged 14 and 17, were freed last month on bail of RM50,000 each.
Good news for disabled e-hailing drivers

Disabled e-hailing drivers will be able to apply for a Public Service Vehicle license starting next month, once the Transport Ministry amends the relevant rules.
This, as the ruling, that requires e-hailing drivers to obtain a PSV license comes into effect in mid-June.
The Transport Ministry says under current regulations, disabled drivers are not allowed to apply for a PSV licence
