Will we get to watch Najib's trial LIVE?
Apr 01, 2019
It'll be up to the courts whether Malaysians will get to watch the trial of former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak live on screens.
The Deputy Prime Minister says as much as she agrees that Malaysians should know the proceedings of the trial, she doesn't want it to become a circus.
Najib himself had earlier suggested televising his own trial, which starts on Wednesday.
Ultimately, however, the final decision on the broadcast lies with the courts.

MOT to amend regulations on disabled e-hailing drivers
Everyone who wants to be an e-hailing driver in Malaysia needs to acquire a Public Service Vehicle license.
But under current regulations, the disabled are not allowed to apply for the PSV.
That's something Transport Minister Anthony Loke plans to change.
"We will amend the regulations to enable the OKU drivers to continue their services. My message to the OKU community is they don't have to worry. We support their rights to be e-hailing drivers."
