Inform caretakers if your child is sick before coming to the nursery

You will have to inform caretakers, if your child is sick before coming to the nursery.

The Perak Welfare Department says caretakers are allowed to refuse sick kids from entering nurseries.

This, after a 3-month-old baby boy passed away while under the care of the caretaker in Ipoh due to fluid in the lungs, because of flu. 

The boy's parents failed to inform the caretaker that the baby was ill. 


Two schools in Johor closed again after students complain of breathing difficulty

The 2 schools which were affected the hazardous chemical dumping case in Pasir Gudang, Johor have closed again, just 8 hours after they were reopened.

This, after some 50 students complained of breathing difficulties.

They have been brought to hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, two factory owners have been arrested over the incident.

Kim Jong-nam suspect Siti Aisyah has been freed

An Indonesian woman accused of killing Kim Jong-nam, the estranged half-brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, has been freed.

The Shah Alam High Court dropped the murder charge against Siti Aisyah after prosecutors withdrew the allegations against her. 

However, no reason was given. 

The trial of her co-accused, a Vietnamese woman, was put on hold following the surprise development.

The two women were accused of smearing a nerve agent on Jong-nam's face at KLIA2, two years ago.

The duo claimed they thought they were taking part in a prank for a TV show.
