Some 900 people died in road accidents while travelling between home and work in 2018

Please be careful on the roads, especially if you're on your way to work. 

The Human Resources Ministry says some 900 people died in road accidents while travelling between home and work last year. 

That means an average of 2 deaths per day. 

The number of traffic accidents as a whole also jumped up to about 35,000, with 7 in 10 involving a motorcycle.

A woman in Penang stole 30,000 ringgit from her employer and gambled part of it away during the long holiday last week!

She told the police she was robbed and even threw away her personal belongings to make it look believable...

...but the police called her bluff after they watched the CCTV footage. 

EC send out voter's cards ahead of Semenyih by-election

The Election Commission has sent out voter's cards to registered voters in Semenyih, ahead of the by-election on 2nd March. 

The card contains information on the polling centres, channels and voting time, to encourage more people to come out and vote.
