Pahang police say some 100 traffic policemen have been deployed to ensure smooth traffic flow on all roads there.
Today's by-election will witness a four-cornered fight between Pakatan Harapan, Barisan Nasional and two independents.
The Election Commission is expecting a 70% voter turnout in the by-election, the result of which is expected to be announced by 10pm.
