A viral video of an eagle “floating” in the sky has recently attracted a lot of attention from Malysians. 

The public who were present at the Damansara subway station were both extremely surprised and confused when they saw the unusual scene of a flying bird that kept hovering in the sky as if it was a glitch on a video game. 

In the 36-second video, firefighters can be seen standing on their fire truck and trying to find out if the animal is alive or dead by using a long stick and reaching out to it.

It didn't take long before the video went viral with netizes coming up with conspiracy theories that we live in a matrix world and this is the phenomenon of “lag server”. 

However, the theory was debunked as the Selangor Fire Department revealed that the animal was indeed stuck on a kite string, which made it seem as if it was hovering.

Authorities noted it was an eagle that had gotten stuck on a kite string, but fortunately, the bird was able to get out and fly away on its own.
